Personal BrandingThree creators, one table. An evening of real talk on storytelling, personal brand, and turning your craft into a career — with Vanessa Lau, Scott Yu-Jan, and Herman Huang.
Josh and Pete on who's coming, what we'll dig into, and why we're keeping the room small. Sound on.
The Creator's Table is a grassroots initiative, not a conference. As far as we can tell, there's nothing else in the city built specifically to bring local and aspiring creators into one room to help each other out — so we're starting it. The idea is simple: bring some of the best in Vancouver together, share what actually works, have a great time, keep it chill and low-key, and give something back to the city that made us. If it helps put Vancouver on the map as a creator city, even better.
There's a lot of talent here and no home for it. We want a room that Vancouver creators actually feel is theirs — and that the rest of the world starts to notice.
Get the city's creatives, editors, filmmakers, and aspiring creators in one place to trade notes, make friends, and find collaborators.
A tight panel and an open Q&A with three creators further down the road — so you can ask the questions you can't Google.
“Keep it chill, keep it low-key. The value is always the network and the people in the room.— The whole idea, in one line
Three creators, three different lanes — brought together to talk storytelling, craft, and building something real out of a following.

Direction & EditingOne panel. One real Q&A. Then we let the room do what it does best.
Arrive, check in, grab a Superboba, and settle in.
We kick off — a living-room-style conversation with Vanessa, Scott, and Herman, moderated to keep it fluid, honest, and useful.
Shortlisted creators from the room share their work — 30 minutes, with constructive feedback from the panel.
The floor is yours. This is usually where the room gets the most value — bring your real questions.
Lights go moody, drinks and snacks flow, and the room opens up for a full hour of meeting the people worth meeting.
That's a wrap — see you at the next one.
You've got the craft. This is about turning it into a story — and turning that story into something real.
How to take a skill people don't understand yet and communicate it in a way that actually lands as content.
Once you've got a following — what next? Turning content and a following into a brand, a service, a product.
We're saving 2–3 spots in the night for micro and meso creators to get up and share their work — 10 minutes each, with constructive feedback from our guests Vanessa, Scott, and Herman.
Keep it small, keep it real — the room hit capacity and every seat is claimed. Ticket holders: your QR pass, the schedule, and the Superboba picker are all in the Event Hub.
Every seat is spoken for — thank you, Vancouver. Already got a ticket? Everything you need for the night is in the Event Hub.
Log in to Event HubContent creators of any size, and anyone aspiring to become one. If you make things and want to get better at telling their story, this room is for you.
Come as you are. This is a living-room-style hang, not a gala.
Up to you — we'll have snacks and refreshments, but it's not a dinner event.
Yes — we'll be filming parts of the panel for content. If that's not your thing, just let us know when you arrive.
